Sierra Electric has been a San Francisco-based Electrical Contractor for over 50 years. We are certified as a Small Business Administration - Local Business Enterprise with the Human Rights Commission of San Francisco, a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) with the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency, and as a Woman-Based Enterprise (WBE) with Supplier Clearing House.

Staffing:

Sierra has experienced in-house estimators, project managers and an engineer. All of our electricians are hired through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). We can provide additional electricians on site within 24 hours through IBEW.

Bonding:

Sierra is prequalified for bonds up to $5 million and our general liability insurance carries a $4 million umbrella on top of our normal limits.

Equipment:

Sierra’s field personnel have well equipped service vehicles with the proper tools and equipment needed to perform their work.

Experience:

Sierra has completed a large range of electrical projects in commercial buildings, schools, residential buildings, hospitals, and occupied office complexes without disrupting day-to-day work within the affected areas. We provide a full range of services from service calls to design- build installations.

Emergency Service:

Sierra Electric provides customers with an answering service for emergency circumstances during off-hours, seven days a week. The answering service calls a designated Sierra Electric employee to ensure the calls are promptly serviced.
